African Diaspora Union/AFRIDU is a Civil Society and Pan African Organization seeking reparative justice and fighting for the citizenship rights of the victims of Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and the welfare of the African Descendants willing to return back to their motherland Africa; and to promote the African culture and heritage, while encouraging the African Descendants towards bringing developmental projects to Africa.

AFRIDU represents African people and the descendants of African people to achieve redemption and restoration; and upon the establishment under the Diaspora/ Assembly/AU/Decl (I) 2012, and the UN resolution 68/237 of 23 December 2013, by which it proclaimed the International Decade for People of African Descent (A/RES/69/16).

The Africans in Diaspora Union/AFRIDU is a global organization dedicated to fostering development, advocacy, and empowerment for African communities worldwide. AFRIDU is more than just an organization; it is a movement, a vision, a shared dream for a united and prosperous Africa. It works to bridge the gap between Africa and its Diaspora, leveraging international expertise, resources, and networks to drive sustainable change across various sectors, including human rights, education, healthcare, and economic development.

AFRIDU had assiduously and with all tenacity worked towards the fulfillment of the dream and reparative justice desire of the Historic Africans in Diaspora (African Descendants) in restoring their rights of citizenship through diplomacy, lobbying, politicking, and negotiation with the Nigerian and other African governments.

AFRIDU understands that the Historic African Diaspora integration requires lobbying, negotiations, agreements, diplomacy and projects actualization which will avoid long speaking conferences and circling the hill countries of Seir like the Biblical children of Israel.

The Historic African Diaspora for clarity purposes are indigenous Africans whose ancestors were forcefully carried away from their motherland through kidnapping, conspiracy, manipulation, and coercions into slavery over 400years ago, and who are dispersed in Europe, North America, South America, Caribbean and the Oceania and eventually lost their rights and inheritance as a result. To this purpose the African Diaspora Union/AFRIDU was formed to bring closure to the decades of struggles, conferences and summits by the African Descendants to receive reparative justice. AFRIDU is uniquely founded in faith in the People of African Continent. It celebrates diversity, and recognizes the right of each individual to be who they want to be, free from domination and brutalization by others.

AFRIDU leadership is influenced by Diplomacy, reconciliation, investment, and development; therefore our vision and objectives can only be realized through lobbying, negotiation, Diplomacy, politicking, peace resolution; and as generation born to unite the Black race, we hold the key to the African Economic Investments.

AFRIDU is bold, courageous, and visionary. We are determined to embrace innovation and collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what is possible for the betterment of our continent and the Diaspora. It is a legacy we are building for generations to come.
